I help small businesses with their brand, marketing materials. In other words, I make you look good!
A young professional at 31, I believe in dealing with people on a personal level, inherently trusting people, doing what you say you’re going to do, not-making excuses, doing things right the first time.
- I always talk to potential clients very frankly and openly.
- I like to become friends with my clients so we build a lasting business relationship filled with honesty and respect.
- I’m not the cheapest solution available, and I make no efforts to hide this fact.
- I have my set rates, I maximize my clients budgets as best I can, and I go above and beyond whenever I’m able to do so.
- I’d like to think I do great work and I give excellent service and make my clients successful.
- I discuss projects direct and to the point because both our time is valuable, and I’d rather be working on a clients project, or doing one of my other personal passions (Publishing Iniciativa Colectiva, an online art magazine) than giving sales pitches.
I have been a graphic designer for the past 6 1/2 years. My design background includes a Bachelor’s Degreein Architecture from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from American Intercontinental University. After I graduated from AIU, I left architecture for good and dedicated myself to Graphic Design entirely.
I am currently the Junior Art Director of an in-house design team of a supplement company where we conceptualize and implement everything from logos, packaging, POS/Display Materials and national ad campaigns for the company’s products.
I am an active participant in the art community. I manage my own T-Shirt Company CHIXINK, I am also the editor and creative director for a bi-monthly web publication called INICIATIVA COLECTIVA MAGAZINE, a collective for artists, by artists and I also curate some of IMPLIED FORM’s shows and contests.
Projects I have created:
- CHIXINK began as my thesis project while I was still in school for Graphic Design and then became a full blown small T-shirt design and printing company which I run with a friend.
- INICIATIVA COLECTIVA MAGAZINE is a project I began in 2006, in which I devotes my time to showcase extraordinary talent and at the same time, to be able to absorb inspiration from the great artists who participate in the bi-monthly publication.
- IMPLIED FORM Art Space is an online gallery space which began in 2007 which hosts a variety of contests for visual artists. Implied Form gallery and art space holds quarterly contests for artists, illustrators and designers.
I am the active curator for the DJ Wave events at CIFO (Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation) along with Fabrikalink.com
All my work and dedication, past, present & future, is dedicated to the memory of my love, my best friend, soul mate and biggest supporter, Ricardo Antonio Bonilla, 1974-2007. Te quiero infinito.
